Rex Trailer Reunion for Globe Santa

Join Rex Trailer, Jimmy Tingle and friends for a holiday afternoon full of fun movies, prizes and cheer. Gather round to watch the Emmy-nominated documentary film Rex Trailer’s Boomtown, directed by Michael Bavaro, featuring Sergeant Billy, Jay Leno, Mayor Menino, Steven Wright, and Jimmy Tingle. Also to be screened are a series of rare short films of Rex and Pablo visiting the famous Jordan Marsh Enchanted Village in 1964, a wagon train journey across Massachusetts in 1961, and a short western film starring Rex – The Bowie Knife – from 1952.

After the films, Jimmy Tingle hosts a panel discussion with Rex, filmmaker Michael Bavaro and other movie cast members. In addition, Rex plans to sing songs, tell stories, give away prizes, and sign autographs. His traveling Boomtown General Store has last minute Boomtown Holiday gifts on sale, and Rex is on hand for pictures and memories.

Everyone attending receives a free Boomtown collectible gift from Rex.

As part of Globe Santa Weekend, $10.00 of each full-price ticket (and $5.00 for half price tickets) will be donated to Globe Santa.
