Provincetown Jazz Festival

WOMR presents the 2nd Annual Provincetown Jazz Festival, featuring Jazz musicians from Cape Cod, New Bedford, New York City, New Orleans and London, England. There are two concerts at the Town Hall and a Jazz Jam Brunch at the Cape Inn.

Lea DeLaria headlines the August 11th Town Hall Concert:
Lea DeLaria is a multitalented performer working in Comedy, Theater, TV, Movies and she has been performing in Provincetown since the 80’s. As a Jazz Singer, she has just released the Jazz CD “Double Standards” on the Telarc record label and is performing concerts world-wide promoting the CD

Suede is Headlining the August 12th Town Hall Concert:
Imagine a cross between Ella Fitzgerald and Bette Midler, add a dash of Louis Armstrong and you might get some idea of Suede’s unique musical talents and abilities. Her latest DVD release, Suede, Live at Scullers Jazz Club is currently being aired on PBS stations nationally. Suede resides on Cape Cod.
