There are moments in this play where one experiences a new kind of laughter, a silent laughter that doesn’t explode but implodes straight into the heart. Every season needs a comedy, a drama, and a hit, and Neil Simon delivers all three. This nostalgic nod to family, love and hope is simply the best play he ever wrote.
