About This Show

Dr. Wendy Lippe directs and Jessica Ernst assistant directs The Psych Drama Company’s production of Hamlet, a presentation of Shakespeare’s infamous play that sheds new light on its familiar characters. Hamlet marks the inaugural production of The Psych Drama Company, whose mission is to integrate the worlds of theater and clinical psychology. Each performance will be coupled with a discussion led by a professional in the fields of psychology and/or criminal justice. The production also features a female Hamlet and transports the action to a contemporary setting, complete with a score by Boston indie band Varsity Drag.
