Dance UP

Dance UP features six of the most promising and skilled dance makers in New England today. Identical twins Bobby and Billy McClain have performed hip-hop dance for 30 years as the Wondertwins. Tap dance company Subject:Matter presents new and cutting-edge tap dance work under the direction of Ian Berg. James Morrow brings hip-hop culture to concert dance with his company james morrow/The Movement. Compelling choreographer Kat Nasti utilizes the constantly changing and diverse artistic pool available in Boston for her Kat Nasti Dance. Doppelgänger Dance Collective (DDC) creates original, contemporary choreographic work for duet performance. Young, talented choreographer Alexander Davis recently created his own company, Alexander Davis Dance (ADD).
