About This Show

Crime and Punishment follows an impoverished law student who commits double murder out of desperation, a strait-laced but sympathetic detective investigating the crime, and a young prostitute pointing the way to redemption. A stripped-down, thrilling new adaptation of the famous psychological crime drama sheds new light on a 19th-century masterpiece. Equal parts journey into the complex mind of a killer and searing psychological study, this stage version of Dostoyevsky’s novel won the 2002-03 Joseph Jefferson Award for Best New Adaptation.

There will be Sunday matinees at 2pm, starting September 18.
