Cape Rep Theatre presents All My Sons, by Arthur Miller, directed by Maura Hanlon. This first of Miller’s brilliant plays sets forth a recurrent theme in his life’s work: that a tragedy of epic proportion can be drawn from the life of the average man on a quest for the “American Dream.” Joe Keller built a successful business selling airplane parts to the Army in WWII and is ready to pass this legacy on to his son. When his son announces that he intends to marry the financée of his missing brother, he unwittingly causes his family to confront the darkest hours of their past—an enthralling story from beginning to end.
