The world-renowned Alloy Orchestra presents brilliant live musical accompaniment the groundbreaking silent film L’inhumaine (The Inhuman Woman). A French avant-garde science fiction wonder L’inhumaine (The Inhuman Woman) is an Art Deco feast for the eye. Director Marcel L’Herbier brought together the greatest artists of the movement, including painter Fernand Léger, architect Robert Mallet-Stevens, glassmaker René Lalique, and a host of others, to create this astounding visual masterpiece released to great controversy in 1924. Alloy’s new score, which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in September 2015, is one of their most audacious yet.
