About This Show

The American Repertory Theatre presents an evening of
songs, poems, skits, and dramatic readings. Members of the A.R.T. Acting Company, the A.R.T. Institute for Advanced Theatre Training, and the Harvard Radcliffe Dramatic Club
will participate in response to the tragedy of September 11.

The evening is envisioned to feature scenes from playwrights as diverse as Aeschylus, Euripides, Shakespeare, O’Casey, and Tony Kushner, poems by W.H. Auden, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Seamus Heaney, Carl Sandburg, and others, and new material written by Robert Brustein and members of the Loeb community.

The event is free of charge, but voluntary donations will be
forwarded to the American Red Cross Relief Fund.
