What do you get when old school gospel meets today’s hip-hop beat? You get Rejoice!, a new musical by Cheryl L. West. Directed by Kenny Leon, Rejoice! looks at the generational differences in a family of gospel singers and provides a humerous glimpse into the lives of “Marchin’ Mississippi Macon,” and his spirited brood.
