About This Show

In Nine-Tenths of the Law, a variety of artists explore dealing with the devil through visual art, digital storytelling, music, drama, poetry and performance art. The evening features performance by “just your average national-award-winning-L.A.-trans-goth-Asian-dyke-poet” Ryka Akoi De La Cruz, short theater performances by local playwright Malik Salaam and excerpts from Beverly Aaron’s play Confessions of a Creamy Crack Addict. The evening will also highlight digital storytelling creations by Carol Burch-Brown, Mendel Williams, and Likwuid Stylez, music by local band Hope for a Golden Summer.
