Working Title Playwrights is proud to present Legacy by Barbara and Carlton Molette as part of their signature series, The Ethel Woolson Lab.

Amanda Overton has never met her only niece Justine, born and raised in Paris and currently attending college in the USA. Amanda, the arbiter of society in her small town, considers Justine her legacy and vows to teach Justine the intricacies of becoming a “Southern lady.” But Justine’s visit forces reassessments of what legacy means.

This staged reading is part of Working Title Playwrights Ethel Woolson Lab which brings together the top playwrights, directors, and actors in the Atlanta theatre community for meaningful collaboration in the creation of new, full-length plays for the stage.
