About the Show

The Peter and Jeri Dejana Foundation present The Long Island Fairy Festival at the Sands Point Preserve!

Join us to celebrate nature, the power of creation, and the magic of imagination with an all-day festival from 10 am – 4 pm on Saturday, May 6th, 2023. (Rain date May 7th.)

As a nature preserve with four major ecosystems – forest, pond, meadow and beach – the Sands Point Preserve is perfectly situated for a celebration that combines a passion for the natural environment with a sprinkling of fairy magic!
The festival will include:
-The Fairy House Walk – featuring the community’s Fairy Houses.
– A photo op with the Queen of the Woodland Fairies
– Music
– Aerialists
– Fairy dance
– Mermaids
– Face painting
– Fairy art exhibit
– Fairy House Artist Invitational
– Opportunities to create fairy art
– Fairy crafts
– Nature walks
– Fairy and troll sightings
– Storytelling
– Spring planting
– Food trucks
– Vendor market
– Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles and other magical experiences!
The Preserve has limited parking. Per car pricing is to encourage carpooling.
Admission price includes parking and most activities. It does not include food, or the vendor market. 
There will be NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE GATE. You MUST purchase tickets in advance. Act fast and get your tickets when they go on sale!
Some areas of the Fairy Festival are handicap accessible, but not all. The Fairy House Walk and some other activities will be on uneven, wooded terrain.
There will be no refunds. If we move to the rain date and it is still raining, most activities will move indoors. If you are not available on the 7th, you may give your tickets to another family, but will need to inform us of the new ticket holder’s name by emailing fairyfestival@sandspointpreserve.org.
