Frank Ferrante to Star in Teatro ZinZanni’s A Rosa de Rio

Comedian Frank Ferrante stars as Chef Caesar in Teatro ZinZanni’s A Rosa de Rio – The Rose of Rio, October 23-February 15. Nathalie Tarlet will direct.

The show also includes Brazilian singer Paula Gelly, whom Chef Caesar plucks from the wait staff in order to maker her his new cabaret singer; the mischievous acrobatic trio from Paris, Les Petits Frères; new vaudevillians Wayne Doba and Andrea Conway; Ukrainian contortionist Vita; comic acrobat Sabine Rieck; and Kathleen Roché-
Zujko as the diva.

The show will feature costumes by Louise DiLenge in collaboration with Beaver Bauer, lighting by Peter Bracilano, musical direction by Norman Durkee, who leads the Orchestra De Ville band: Hans Teuber on saxophone, clarinet and bass, Luis “Loco” Peralta on percussion, and Marco De Carvalho on guitar. In addition, Chef Tom Douglas has designed a new menu for the run.
