Jasmine Guy to Host LaTanya Richardson-Jackson for Onstage Conversation in Atlanta

LaTanya Richardson-Jackson will participate in a talkback at the Southwest Arts Center in Atlanta, on July 30 at 1pm. The event will be hosted by Jasmine Guy, who is directing the True Colors Theatre Company production of for colored girls who considered suicide when the rainbow was enuf, which is running at that theater through August 9.

Jackson starred in the national tour of for colored girls, and recently appeared on Broadway in August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone. She will speak about her career as an artist, which has spanned television, film, and stage work. True Colors’ artistic director, Kenny Leon, will give a special introduction for the event.
