San Francisco Production of Wicked to Close on September 5

The San Francisco production of Wicked will play its final performance at the Orpheum Theatre on September 5. As of that time, it will have played 600 performances and 12 previews. The production is directed by Joe Mantello.

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked has a score by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman.

The company currently features Eden Espinosa (Elphaba), Kendra Kassebaum (Glinda), Jody Gelb (Madame Morrible), and Tom McGowan (Wonderful Wizard of Oz),
