Full casting has been announced for the West Coast premiere of Bruce Norris’ Clybourne Park, to be presented by American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.), January 20-February 13. As previously reported, Jonathan Moscone will direct.

Riffing off of Lorraine Hansbury’s A Raisin in the Sun, the first act of the play opens in 1959, as a white couple sells their home to a black family, causing uproar in their middle-class Chicago neighborhood. Act II transports us to the same house in 2009, when the stakes are different, but the debate is strikingly familiar.

The cast will feature René Augesen (Bev/Kathy), Manoel Felciano (Jim/Tom/Kenneth), Anthony Fusco (Russ/Dan), Omozé Idehenre (Francine/Lena), Emily Kitchens (Betsy/Lindsey), Richard Thieriot (Karl/Steve), and Gregory Wallace (Albert/Kevin)

The creative team will include Ralph Funicello (scenic designer), Jeff Mockus (sound designer), Alexander V. Nichols (lighting designer), and Katherine Roth (costume designer).
