Rebecca Longworth, Caroline Parsons, Ross Travis Set for We Players’ The Odyssey on Angel Island

We Players has announced casting for its upcoming production of The Odyssey on Angel Island, to run May 12-July 1 at Angel Island California State Park. The production is conceived and directed by artistic director Ava Roy, and will also feature live music by music director Charlie Gurke.

In this adaptation of Homer’s epic poem, the audience will follow Odysseus’s journeys as they work their way through a self-guided adventure across the island, using maps and “survival kits” provided by We Players.

The cast will feature Caroline Parsons, Ross Travis, Rebecca Longworth, Nathaniel Justiano, Julie Douglas, Michael Moerman, Libby Kelly, Maria Leigh, Frieda de Lackner, Joan Howard, Claire Slattery, and James Udom.
