American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) has announced complete casting for The Tosca Project, to run June 3-27. A.C.T. Artistic Director Carey Perloff and San Francisco Ballet’s Val Caniparoli will collaborate on the staging of the dance-theatre piece.

Inspired by San Francisco’s legendary Tosca Cafe, which bore witness to every shift in the city’s history over the past century, The Tosca Project is an exploration of the people and events that have shaped San Francisco into what it is today, and is set to a score that features music ranging from Puccini to Hendrix.

The piece will feature San Francisco Ballet principal dancers Pascal Molat and Lorena Feijoo and former San Francisco Ballet principal dancer Sabina Allemann alongside actors Peter Anderson, Rachel Ticotin, Gregory Wallace, and Jack Willis.

The creative team will include Douglas W. Schmidt (scenic design), Robert Wierzel (lighting design) Robert de La Rose (costume design), and Darron L. West (sound design).
