Magic Theatre Announces One-Week Extension of Luis Alfaro’s Bruja

Magic Theatre has announced a one-week extension of its currently running production of Bruja by Luis Alfaro. The production will now run through July 1.
The play is a reimagining of Euripides’ Medea, setting the play in the modern day Mission District of San Francisco.
As previously announced, the cast features Sabina Zuniga Varela as Medea as well as Sean San Jose, Carlos Aguirre, Wilma Bonet, and Armando Rodriguez. Daniel Vigil, Mason Kreis, Daniel Castaneda, and Gavilan Gordon-Chavez will alternate in pairs as Medea’s children.
The design team includes Andrew Boyce (set design), Alex Jaeger (costume design), Eric Southern (lighting design), and Jake Rodriguez (sound design).
