Klea Blackhurst, David Cale, Marga Gomez, Bill Irwin, et al. Win SF Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards

Winners of the SF Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards have been announced.

Bill Irwin won for his performance in Scapin, while solo performance winners include Klea Blackhurst for Everything the Traffic Will Allow; Leanne Borghesi for Divalicious; David Cale for Palomino; Marga Gomez for Marga Gomez Is Proud and Bothered; and Geoff Hoyle for Lemony Snicket’s The Composer Is Dead.

Among the other awards were honors for the touring production of West Side Story, playwright Jason Grote for 1001, and multiple wins for Aurora Theatre Company’s production of Trouble in Mind, A.C.T.’s The Tosca Project, and Ray of Light Theatre’s Baby: A Musical.
