Johnny Trotman’s Rhythm of San Francisco Set for Theatre 39

Rhythm of San Francisco with A Touch of Vegas will take the stage at Theatre 39 on Pier 39 for four performances, April 25 May 7, 14, and 21. The piece will be written and directed by Johnny Trotman.

The show is a mixture of Soul and R&B music that travels through the eras of San Francisco with a collection of classic tunes, as well as soul crooners Top Shelf. The show features a taste of classic soul, doo-wop, 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s music, and some hits of today.

The cast of nine singers and dancers with a live orchestra will feature Alan Revelo, Namita Kapoor, Mary Rogers, Christie McDonald, Felicia Curtis, Jacqueline McBride, Trotman, Marla Goody, and Olaf Pollard.
