The Jewish Theatre San Francisco will present the return of Fabrik: The Legend of M. Rabinowitz, created and performed by New York City’s Wakka Wakka Productions, February 4-28.

Fabrik blends European cabaret with traditional puppetry and reportage as it tells the story of Morris Rabinowitz, a Polish Jew who immigrated to Norway at the turn of the century. The show is a co-production with the Nordland Visual Theatre, Stamsund, Norway and features a score by Lars Peter Hagen. It previously played TJT in January 2009.

The NYC production received the 2008 Henry Hewes Award Nomination for Puppet Design, 2008 Unima Citation of Excellence, as well as a 2008 New York Drama Desk Award Nomination.
