Two-time Tony Award winner Bill Irwin will star in and direct the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) production of Molière's Scapin, which he previously adapted with Mark O'Donnell. The production will run September 16-October 10.

In this lively baggy-pants comedy, the rascally title character balances his penchant for mayhem and mischief with a promise to help two pairs of wide-eyed lovers.

In addition to Irwin as Scapin, the cast will include René Augesen (Zerbinette), Randy Craig (George the Musician), Geoff Hoyle (Geronte), Omozé Idehenre (Nerine), Ben Johnson (Gendarme, Porter), Richardson Jones (Sylvestre alternate), Steven Anthony Jones (Argante), Patrick Lane (Leander), Keith Pinto (Gendarme, Porter), Keith Terry (Fred the Musician), Gregory Wallace (Octave), Ashley Wickett (Hyacinth), and Jud Williford (Sylvestre).

The creative team will include Beaver Bauer (costume designer), Randy Craig (composer), Erik Flatmo (scenic designer), Kimi Okada (movement consultant), Jake Rodriguez (sound designer), Nancy Schertler (lighting designer), and Keith Terry (percussion).
