"Mississippi" Charles Bevel, Chic Street Man, and More Set for It Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues

Casting information has been announced for the Theatreworks production of It Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues, March 11-April 11, set to play at the Lucie Stern Theatre with Randal Myler at the helm.

The show is a retrospective of blues classics, told with historical sweep across a catalog of three dozen songs, including “The Thrill is Gone,” “Let the Good Times Roll,” “Good-Night Irene,” and many others. The cast will feature “Mississippi” Charles Bevel, Chic Street Man, Alison Ewing, James Monroe Iglehart, Michelle E. Jordan, C. Kelly Wright, and Tony Marcus.

The revue was created by Bevel, Lita Gaithers, Randal Myler, Ron Taylor, and Dan Wheetman when it premiered at the Denver Center theater in 1994.
