A First Look: Gideon Glick in The Whale Playwright Samuel D. Hunter’s The Few at The Old Globe

The award-winning playwright brings themes of love and longing to his new comic play in San Diego.

Lucille Lortel- and Drama Desk Award-winning playwright Samuel D. Hunter (The Whale) has opened a new play entitled The Few at Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, California. The production stars Gideon Glick (Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark) along with Eva Kamisnky (The Lyons), Michael Laurence (Desire Under the Elms), and Jenny Bacon (My Name is Asher Lev).

The play follows QZ (Kaminsky) who fills her small newspaper in northern Idaho with personal ads from lonely truckers. However, she must revisit the past when her publisher/former lover reenters her life.

The production will run at the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center through October 27. Take a look at a few photos of the cast in action.
