Mark Indelicato, Patrick Page, Kate Shindle et al. Set for Pittsburgh CLO’s Oliver!

Pittsburgh CLO has announced casting for its production of Oliver!, which will include Ugly Betty‘s Mark Indelicato as the Artful Dodger, and Broadway stars Patrick Page as Fagin and Kate Shindle as Nancy. Richard Stafford will direct and choreograph the production, to play the Benedum Center, June 1-6.

Featuring book, music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, Oliver! is based on the novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. The Tony Award-winning score includes songs such as “I’d Do Anything,” Where is Love?,” “Consider Yourself,” and “As Long As He Needs Me.”

Joseph Serafini will play the musical’s title role, with the cast also including John Treacy Egan (Mr. Bumble), Jeff Howell (Mr. Brownlow), Robin Lounsbury (Widow Corney),
Gene Seraceni (Dr. Grimwig), and Christian Whelan (Bill Sykes), along with 32 current students at Pittsburgh CLO Academy in various roles. The creative team will include Craig Barna (music director) and John McClain (lighting designer).
