Girls Night: The Musical to Make Philadelphia Premiere in April

Louise Roche’s Girls Night: The Musical will make its Philadelphia premiere at the Kimmel Center, April 20-May 23, 2010. Jack Randle directs.

The show centers on a group of women who get together for a pre-engagement party for the daughter of one of their friends. As they celebrate, they perform such pop anthems as “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” “I Will Survive,” “We Are Family,” and “Lady Marmalade.” Casting for this production will be announced at a later date.

Girl’s Night: The Musical debuted in the U.K. in 2003. It opened in the U.S. in 2007 and has toured ever since. The musical is currently playing engagements in New York and Boston.
