Prince, Reeder, Thomas, et al. to Star in McNally’s Unusual Acts of Devotion

Faith Prince, Richard Thomas, James Colby, Viola Harris, and Ana Reeder will star in the world premiere of Terrence McNally’s Unusual Acts of Devotion, to run at the Philadelphia Theatre Company, October 22-November 23. The production, which will open officially on October 29, will be directed by Leonard Foglia.

The play concerns a group of Greenwich Village residents who gather to celebrate a wedding anniversary and end up confronting some uncomfortable truths. McNally is the author of numerous plays and musicals including Love! Valour! Compassion!, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, and Master Class, all of which have been presented by the company.

The creative team includes Santo Loquasto (sets), Jess Goldstein (costumes), Brian Nason (lighting), and Ryan Rumery (sound). Foglia’s Broadway credits include Thurgood, On Golden Pond, and Master Class.

The PTC season will include Judy Gold’s 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother (December 18-21), Daniel Beaty’s Resurrection (January 23-February 22), and the musical Grey Gardens (May 22-June 28).
