Judy Gold will bring her solo show 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, to Philadelphia Theatre Company’s home space, the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, December 11-21. Karen Kohlhaas will direct.

Co-written by Kate Moira Ryan and Gold, the 70-minute show is a mix of Gold’s anecdotes about her parenting of the two children she conceived with her former partner and the results of interviews Gold and Ryan conducted with Jewish women from around the country.

Gold received a 2006 Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Solo Performance for 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, which also won a GLAAD Award for Outstanding New York Theater: Broadway and Off Broadway. Ryan is also the co-author of Beebo Brinker Chronicles, and Kohlhass is a founding member of New York’s Atlantic Theater Company.
