Casting Announced for Walnut Street's A Moon for the Misbegotten

Eugene O’Neill’s drama comes to Philadelphia.

Casting has been announced for Walnut Street Theatre's upcoming production of Eugene O'Neill's A Moon for the Misbegotten. The drama runs from January 12-February 7 under the direction of Kate Galvin.

The four-member company includes Angela Smith (Josie Hogan), Anthony Lawton (James Tyrone Jr.), Michael P. Toner (Phil Hogan), and Jamison Foreman (Mike Hogan/T. Stedman Harder).

The play centers on Josie and James, a tenant farmer's daughter and a dissolute landlord. When Josie's father worries he will lose his property, Josie decides to seduce James in an effort to save their land. During the night they spend under the moon, the truth comes into focus for both James and Josie. However, everything could change when dawn breaks.

The creative team includes Andrew Thompson (scenic design), J. Domoinic Chacon (lighting design), Julia Poiesz (costume design), and Cory Neale (sound design).
