Lantern Theater Company Announces 2009-2010 Season
The season will open with Beckett's Happy Days, September 24-October 18, which follows Winnie, the optimist who must struggle to maintain cheerfulness in the face of ridiculous difficulties. Molière's Scapin, adapted by Bill Irwin and Mark O'Donnell, will put the famous titular servant at the center of an inventive interaction between actors and puppets, December 3-January 3.
The Breath of Life will play February 4-28, Hare's drama about Frances, a successful author, who takes the late ferry to a remote island to find Madeleine, a retired curator and near-recluse, and her ex-husband's mistress.
