Jennie Eisenhower, Rebecca Robbins Set for Walnut Street Theatre’s A Grand Night for Singing

Walnut Street Theatre has announced casting for its upcoming production of A Grand Night for Singing, to run May 1-June 24 at Walnut’s Independence Studio on 3. Bruce Lumpkin will direct.

A tribute to the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein, A Grand Night for Singing features reinterpretations of familiar songs such as “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Out-a My Hair,” “How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?” and “Shall We Dance?”

The cast will include Philadelphia actors Jennie Eisenhower, Michael Philip O’Brien, Fran Prisco, and Rebecca Robbins.

The design team will be comprised of Robert Kramer (set design), Adam Macks (lighting design), Mary Folino (costume design), and Zachary Brown (sound design). Choreography will be by Michelle Gaudette.
