Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Lantern Theatre’s Sizwe Banzi Is Dead

Full cast and creative team have been announced for the Lantern Theatre’s production of Sizwe Banzi Is Dead, by Athol Fugard, John Kani, and Winston Ntshona, to run January 30-March 1. The production will be directed by Peter DeLaurier.

First presented in 1974, the show focuses on the interwoven stories of Styles, an enterprising photographer in South Africa, and SIzwe,a migrant worker who comes to have his photo taken.

The show will star Forrest McClendon and Lawrence Stallings. The creative team includes Meghan Jones (sets), Millie Hibbel (costumes), Janet Embree (lighting), and Christopher Colluci (sound).
