Full Cast, Creative Team Set for James and the Giant Peach at Arden Theatre

Casting and creative team information has been announced for the Arden Theatre Company production of James and the Giant Peach, set to run on the F. Otto Haas stage, December 10-February 8. Whit MacLaughlin will direct.

David Wood’s play is an adaptation of the novel by Roald Dahl, which follows James on on his adventure in the center of a giant peach with an unusual group of talking insects. The cast will star James Ijames as James, and feature Frederick Andersen as Earthworm, Oberon Adjepong as Grasshopper, Stephanie English as Aunt Sponge, Brian Osborne as Centipede, Ceal Phelan as Spider, Amanda Schoonover as Ladybird, and Harum Ulmer, Jr. as Aunt Spiker.

The creative team will include Jorge Cousineau (sound design/video and projections design), Brian J. Lilienthal (lighting design), Matt Saunders (scenic design), and Christal Weatherly (costume design).
