Laura Osnes to Lead Show Boat Concert

Bucks County Playhouse has announced casting for a new concert production of Oscar Hammerstein II and Jerome Kern's Show Boat on Saturday, June 23, at 7pm.
The company will be led by Laura Osnes as Magnolia, James Snyder as Gaylord Ravenal, Jessica Walter as Parthy, Clyde Alves as Frank, Natasha Yvette Williams as Queenie, Stephanie Gibson as Ellie, Michael McGrath as Captain Andy, and Michel Bell as Joe, reprising his Tony-nominated performance from the 1994 Broadway revival.
Show Boat is adapted for this production by Rob Ruggiero, with direction by Josh Rhodes and musical direction by Andy Einhorn. Ted Chapin, president and chief creative officer of the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization, will serve as narrator.
