The Dear Evan Hansen Tour Will Get a New Star This Fall

Stephen Christopher Anthony will assume the title role in the upcoming national tour of Dear Evan Hansen beginning September 17. Anthony has covered the role of Evan Hansen on Broadway and currently performs the role several times a week as the Evan Hansen alternate on tour.
Ben Levi Ross, who currently plays the title role, will continue through the following cities: Pittsburgh (May 21-26), Minneapolis (May 28-June 9), Cleveland (June 11-30), Greenville, South Carolina (July 2-7), Boston (July 10-August 4), Washington, D.C. (August 6-September 8), and Nashville, Tennessee (September 10-15). Anthony will begin performances in Columbus, Ohio.
The winner of six 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Dear Evan Hansen features a book by Steven Levenson, a score by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and direction by Michael Greif.
