Nassim Soleimanpour's solo play White Rabbit Red Rabbit will play the final performance of its off-Broadway engagement at the Westside Theatre on December 19. The production's 42-week run began March 7.

White Rabbit Red Rabbit features a constantly changing cast of stars who see the script for the first time immediately before stepping onstage for their performances: "No rehearsal. No director. No set. No spoilers," says the production. "A different performer each night is handed the script for the first time as they step onto the stage."

The show is described as follows: "Forbidden to leave his country, young Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour found a way for his voice to get out when he physically could not — distilling the experience of his isolation in an audacious and utterly nontraditional new play. This wildly entertaining and thought-provoking theatrical piece — where no audience can see the same show twice — blends drama, comedy and social experiment, providing audiences with a potent reminder of the transformative power of theater."

The rotating cast, each taking the stage only one time ever, featured performers including Nathan Lane, Whoopi Goldberg, Alan Cumming, Cynthia Nixon, Martin Short, and many more. Upcoming performers include Tony nominee Micah Stock (December 5) and star Of USA Networks' Psych James Roday (December 12).

The producers also announced that by the run's end, it will have fully recouped its investment.
