Ars Nova has announced its 2018-19 season, its first at both its original 54th Street home and its new location, the Greenwich House Theater on Barrow Street.

At the original Ars Nova, the season will begin with the sci-fi folk concert Rags Parkland Sings the Songs of the Future, created by Andrew R. Butler. Directed by Jordan Fein, the creative team will include Madeline Smith (music director), Laura Jellinek (scenic design) Andy Jean (costume design), Barbara Samuels (lighting design), and Mikaal Sulaiman (sound design). It will run September 25-October 27.

The company will kick off its tenure on Barrow Street in February 2019 with a series of events and performances, before a March-April, 2019 run of a new commission by company in residence the Mad Ones. Lila Neugebauer will direct.

Additional information about each production will be announced in the coming months.
