This production of the Stephen Sondheim-Hugh Wheeler musical comes to Manhattan following sold-out runs in London, where the show debuted in Harrington's Pie and Mash Shop, the oldest continuously operating pie shop in Britain. Directed by Bill Buckhurst, the Stephen Sondhem-Hugh Wheeler musical is set in a working pie-shop environment re-created at the Barrow Street Theatre. The revival opened March 1, 2017. The run is currently scheduled through August 26.
