Soho Repertory Theatre announced its 2017-18 season, its first back at its former Lower Manhattan storefront at 46 Walker Street after having to close the theater in September 2016 and finish the rest of its 2016-17 season at different venues while the space was being renovated.

The new season will begin with Aleshea Harris's Is God Is February 6-March 11, 2018. The work is described as "a modern myth that follows twin sisters as they sojourn from the Dirty South to the California desert to exact righteous revenge." Taibi Magar will direct the world premiere production.

Following that is another world premiere: Jackie Sibblies Drury's Fairview, which will run May 29-July 1, 2018. In the play, Sibblies Drury "cracks open the form of the naturalistic family drama to examine the ways in which we watch and judge each other every day and to question the impact of those actions on individuals and society at large." Soho Rep. artistic director Sarah Benson will direct this production.
