Tony-winning director Richard Maltby Jr. has been announced to helm a limited engagement of Love, Linda, set to run at the Triad Theater October 17-November 10.

Jazz singer and actor Stevie Holland will perform the one-woman musical, featuring a book by Holland with Gary William Friedman, and music and lyrics by Cole Porter. The show tells the story of Linda Lee Thomas, the Southern beauty who was the driving force behind legendary songwriter Cole Porter at the dawn of the roaring '20s. Though Porter was gay, their companionship and love lasted through 35 years of marriage and together they lived a spectacular, glamour-filled life.

Love, Linda had previous runs at the Triad Theater in 2009 and 2010 and was subsequently presented at the John Drew Theater in East Hampton, New York, and the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. After further development, the musical made its off-Broadway premiere at the York Theatre in 2014 with direction by Richard Maltby Jr., who returns for this upcoming engagement.

The score for Love, Linda includes such beloved Porter songs as "Night and Day," "I Love Paris," "In the Still of the Night," and "Love for Sale."
