My Life on a Diet, the autobiographical comedy from Renée Taylor, has extended its limited run. Originally scheduled as a six-week run ending August 19, the production will now play through September 2 at Theatre at St. Clement's. The one-woman show is written by Taylor and her late husband, Joseph Bologna, and was originally directed by Bologna.

My Life on a Diet looks at Taylor's experiences as a self-described "diet junkie" and shares juicy anecdotes and weight loss tips from Hollywood legends like Marilyn Monroe and Marlon Brando.

Taylor's Broadway credits include Luv, Agatha Sue, I Love You, and her and Bologna's plays Lovers and Other Strangers, It Had to Be You, and If You Ever Leave Me...I'm Going With You! Onscreen, she's best known for her performance as Sylvia Fine in The Nanny, as well as her performance as Eva Braun in the original 1968 version of The Producers. She and Bologna received an Emmy for their television special Acts of Love and Other Comedies.

Presented by Julian Schlossberg, My Life on a Diet has set design by Harry Feiner, lighting design by Stefanie Risk, and sound design by Jay Risk.
