Howard Barker and Caryl Churchill Plays to Be Presented in Rep

Potomac Theatre Project will also present a theatrical collage based on the writings of Bertolt Brecht in its 32nd season.

The Potomac Theatre Project has announced the lineup for its 32nd repertory season, running July 10-August 5 at Atlantic Stage 2.

The season will include Brecht on Brecht (July 11-August 4), a theatrical collage culled from the writings of Bertolt Brecht and adapted by George Tabori; and a double bill of Howard Barker's The Possibilities and Caryl Churchill's The After-Dinner Joke (July 10-August 5).

Jim Petosa will direct Brecht on Brecht. The cast will feature Harrison Bryan, Christine Hamel, Carla Martinez, Jake Murphy, Miguel Castillo, Olivia Christie, Sebastian LaPointe, and Ashley Michelle. The production team will include Ronnie Romano (music director and pianist), Hallie Zieselman (set design), Joe Cabrera (lighting design), and Annie Ulrich (costume design).

Richard Romagnoli will direct The Possibilities, with a cast featuring Christopher Marshall, Marianne Tatum, Jonathan Tindle, Kathleen Wise, Adam Milano, Eliza Renner, and Madeleine Russell. Cheryl Faraone will direct The After-Dinner Joke, with a cast featuring Tara Giordano, Christo Grabowski, Christopher Marshall, Jonathan Tindle, Lucy Van Atta, Kathleen Wise, Roxy Adviento, Madeline Ciocci, Noah Liebmiller, Adam Milano, Eliza Renner, and Madeleine Russell. The production team for both will include Hallie Zieselman (set design), Joe Cabrera (lighting design), Annie Ulrich (costume design), and Cormac Bluestone (sound design). The After-Dinner Joke will also feature animation projection by Kyle Meredith.
