Preston Max Allen's musical We Are the Tigers will receive an off-Broadway run in February 2019. Directed by Michael Bello, with Patrick Sulken serving as music supervisor, the production will reveal its cast, creative team, and theater in the coming weeks.

Written and composed by Allen, the musical is described as follows: "A new school year means a new beginning for the Tigers, the worst-ranked high school cheerleading team in the state. First-time captain Riley is determined to rally the girls for a fresh start at the annual team sleepover, but the night takes a viciously bloody turn when three Tigers are found mysteriously murdered. Now a squad that can't even stick a landing has to solve a murder if they want any hope of making it to regionals — or the morning."

We Are the Tigers was first produced at the Hudson Theater in Los Angeles in October 2015 and received an Ovation Award for Best Score.

The off-Broadway run is presented by S. Asher Gelman, Matthew Hui, and Midnight Theatricals.
