New York Theatre Workshop has announced a benefit performance of the sold-out concert series, Mandy Patinkin in Concert: Diaries 2018. The one-night-only benefit performance will take place on October 22. The concerts will take place at the Connelly Theater October 10-28.

Funds raised at this one-night-only event support NYTW's Artist Workshop activities, through which nearly 2,000 artists develop more than 80 projects each year, with their Education Initiatives including Learning Workshop, Mind the Gap, and Public Programs that serve over 1,600 students of all ages. All tickets to the benefit performance include a tax-deductible contribution.

A marriage of his favorite Broadway and classic American songs, Mandy Patinkin in Concert: Diaries 2018 celebrates the release of his Nonesuch recordings Mandy Patinkin Diary January 2018 and Mandy Patinkin Diary April/May 2018. Adam Ben-David will serve as pianist.

Tony and Emmy winner Patinkin is best known on Broadway for his performances in Evita, Sunday in the Park With George, The Secret Garden, and The Wild Party. He currently plays Saul Berenson on Showtime's hit series Homeland.
