Kristolyn Lloyd to Star in Little Women

Paola Sanchez Abreu, the play’s author Kate Hamill, and more will also star in the adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s novel.

Primary Stages has announced casting for Little Women, Kate Hamill's adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's novel, directed by Sarna Lapine (Sunday in the Park With George). The production will run May 15-June 29 at Cherry Lane Theatre, with opening night set for Tuesday, June 4.

Kristolyn Lloyd (Dear Evan Hansen) will star as Jo. The rest of the cast will include Hamill herself as Meg; Paola Sanchez Abreu (The Wolves) as Beth; Megan Byrne (Arcadia) as Hannah and Mrs. Mingott; Michael Crane (Gloria) as Brooks, Parrot, and Dashwood; Andrew Long (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as Mr. Laurence and Robert March; Nate Mann as Laurie; Maria Elena Ramirez (Fish in the Dark) as Marmie and Aunt March; and Carmen Zilles (Small Mouth Sounds) as Amy.

The creative team will include Mikiko Suzuki MacAdams (scenic design), Valérie Thérèse Bart (costume design), Paul Whitaker (lighting design), and Leon Rothenberg (sound design), with Deborah Abramson serving as composer.
