Jonathan Larson’s Tick, Tick…BOOM! to Receive Revival

Keen Company Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein has announced his plans for the theater's upcoming season, which will include two productions.
From October 4-November 18, Keen will present Jonathan Larson’s Tick, Tick … Boom! at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row. Directed by Jonathan Silverstein, the production will have an opening night October 20.
Tick, Tick…BOOM! is an autobiographical musical by the late Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Jonathan Larson (Rent). It is the story of an aspiring composer questioning his life choices on the eve of his 30th birthday. Nick Blaemire (Godspell, The SpongeBob Musical) will star in the production, with Joey Chancey serving as musical director and Christine O'Grady choreographing. Additional casting and the design team will be announced shortly.
The world premiere of When It's You by Courtney Baron will complete the Keen season, running February 21-April 8 with an opening on March 9 at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row. Jonathan Silverstein will direct this personal look at the ripple effects that follow gun violence in contemporary America. Casting and design team will be announced shortly.
