Jersey Boys has released new photos of its run at New World Stages.
Sam Wolf stars as Tommy DeVito, along with Aaron De Jesus as Frankie Valli, Mark Edwards as Nick Massi, and Cory Jeacoma as Bob Gaudio. The production also includes Dianna Barger, Stephen Cerf, Andrew Frace, Natalie Gallo, Jon Hacker, Austin Owen, John Rochette, Paul Sabala, Rachel Schur, and Dru Serkes.
Written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe, Jersey Boys tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and features dozens of their popular hits, including "Walk Like a Man," "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)," and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You."
The show's Broadway production opened on November 6, 2005, after playing an out-of-town tryout run at the La Jolla Playhouse. It closed 11 years later on January 15, 2017. A film version directed by Clint Eastwood was released in 2014.
Like the Broadway production, the off-Broadway staging is directed by Des McAnuff and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, with music supervision, vocal, and dance arrangements and incidental music by Ron Melrose, and orchestrations by Steve Orich.
