EXCLUSIVE: Judith Ivey, Estelle Parsons, and More in Out of the Mouths of Babes

Barnet Kellman directs Israel Horovitz’s new play.

New production photos have been released from the world premiere of Israel Horovitz's new play Out of the Mouths of Babes. Directed by Barnet Kellman, the currently running production will open June 19 at the Cherry Lane Theatre.

The cast stars Oscar winner and five-time Tony nominee Estelle Parsons (Bonnie and Clyde), two-time Tony winner Judith Ivey (The Audience), Angelina Fiordellisi (Zorba), and Francesca Choy-Kee (Disgraced). Out of the Mouths of Babes reunites Horovitz with Parsons, who starred in his drama My Old Lady, as well as with Ivey, who starred opposite Jason Robards on Broadway in Horovitz's Park Your Car in Harvard Yard.

The story depicts what happens when four women arrive in Paris for the funeral of a 100-year-old man who loved each of them — sometimes simultaneously. For 24 hours, they share his apartment, delicious secrets, and a dead cat.

The creative team includes Neil Patel (scenic design), Joseph G. Aulisi (costume design), Paul Miller (lighting design), and Leon Rothenberg (sound design).
